A Portrait Sitting

I took Jocelyn to Target for portraits about a month ago. I'm not taking her back. The only reason I went to Target was because I had a coupon for 6 free portrait sheets, which I received after our Holiday portrait disaster.
Target schedules appointments every 10 minutes. That's just not enough time. Jocelyn wasn't even warmed up to the photographer by the time the session was over. I don't think she smiled in any of the pictures. There weren't any pictures that I absolutely loved, probably because I love her little smile and it wasn't captured.
Here are some of the pictures from her session:

(I hate this tacky background)

I'm not liking this fairy either...Trying to catch a bubble

Ugly fake flowers...

  1. Yep, Target missed a really good chance with a very photogenic little girl. Hard to believe this is the same kid who WON a portrait contest! She looks like in each photo she's asking, "Are you sure that this is what you want me to do? I can do better without your help, thank you very much!"

  3. She is still a beautiful girl. I wonder why they schedule them so often?

  4. yeah, jc penney schedules them every 10 minutes too. we have taken audrey twice. we liked the first session but the second we didn't really like at all. i took her to picture people and they spent a lot of time with her and got her to smile a lot but they were sooo expensive that i don't think i will take her back.
