Homemade Pizza

We had homemade whole wheat pizza last night for dinner.  

I'm getting better at making the crust...when I first started the crust was always too thick, but last night it was just right and the girls gave it a thumbs up!

Jocelyn's Preschool Graduation

Today Jocelyn graduated from Preschool.  Her days as a preschooler are over.  In the fall she will begin her journey as an elementary school student.  The past 2 years have gone by in the blink of an eye!

 

On her last day of school, Jocelyn's teacher sent home a little photo album filled with pictures of Jocelyn from throughout the school year.  The last picture in the album was this one:

It sure did cause a tear or two to run down my cheek.  The picture is SO Jocelyn.  I love that smile!

Jocelyn's school had a very nice graduation ceremony, and I was so sure before it began that I would need an entire box of tissues.  I ended up doing a really good job holding it together and I didn't need my tissues.  I was so proud of her as she stood up there in her little graduation cap.  She has come so far and learned so much in the last 2 years!

Congratulations Jocie-bean!  We are so proud of you and love you so much!

A Baseball Player

Jocelyn is about half way through her T-ball season, and the second half means coach-pitch!  Daddy decided Jocelyn could use a little practice hitting a pitched ball so they had a little practice session at Grandma's house.  She did a really good job! 

Children's Festival 2013

We took the girls to the International Children's Festival in Oakland yesterday for the second year in a row.  The girls had a good time!

A Graduation Picnic for Jocelyn

Jocelyn's preschool had an all-school graduation picnic today.  It was a nice day for a picnic, and Jocelyn had tons of fun running around with her classmates at the park! 

Mrs. Strussenberg released the butterflies that Jocelyn's class watched turn from caterpillar into butterfly.
