Twins
I'm not one of those moms who dress their girls alike. At first I didn't because I always thought it to be a little weird. Now I don't do it because Jocelyn and Reagan just don't have the same style. This morning the girls decided to dress themselves alike. I don't know how it came about, but this is how it turned out. They are kinda cute, but I still won't dress them alike on purpose!

Reagan's 4th Birthday Party!
Today we celebrated Reagan's 4th birthday with our friends and family! The day began with rain in the forecast, which really worried me because this was a very Reagan-ish birthday party...at a park, OUTSIDE! The morning started off nice and cool and windy. It really felt like a storm was on the way. Lukily, Jocelyn said a little wish that the rain stay away until Reagan's party was over. If you can believe it, it turned out to be a great park day. It wasn't too hot and the rain held off a l m o s t until the party was over. As we were cleaning up, the rain started. That was fine with me. We got in all the party activities and Reagan and her friends had a lot of fun!
The kids played Tball before lunch!
The menu included Reagan's favorite: Pizza and chips. We also had a 6-foot hoagie, watermelon, and veggie tray.
The highlight of the party was Soccer Shots! This is a program Reagan has been participating in that teaches kids soccer skills. Luckily for me and Reagan they also do Birthday parties!!
Reagan's Goal!
Jocelyn's turn!
The kids played a short game
The birthday girl received her very on soccer shots ball!

A Reagan Funny
This morning while we were getting ready to go to gymnastics Reagan asked me why she had to wear her gymnastics clothes. The back story to that question is that today is Thursday and she only goes to Gymnastics on Tuesdays, but Jocelyn goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so typically Reagan has to sit and wait on Thursdays while Jocelyn goes and she doesn't wear her gymnastics clothes. Today Reagan got to take an extra day of gymnastics because she missed her day last week due to VBS. Anyway, to answer her question I replied that it was a make-up gymnastics day. I don't know if the fact that this conversation went on as I was standing in the bathroom and putting make-up on had anything to do with her question, but she stood there and asked me if I would be putting make-up on her next. I gave her a crazy look and asked why I would be putting make-up on her...she doesn't wear make-up. She then replied, "You said it was a make-up gymnastics day!" She thought I meant that she had to wear make-up to gymnastics! Cute, innocent, literal, almost-4-year-old question. Love you Reagan!
