Demo
D-day was July 14th: Kitchen demo day. Note my lack of exclamation points. I was NOT excited for the kitchen project to start. Why? Because I'm not a big fan of disorganization and chaos. I wasn't looking forward to living without a kitchen. I'm not a fan of cleaning up all the after-construction mess! But am I excited to have a brand new sparkling kitchen that matches on both sides? YES! So I guess I have to deal with all the stuff that comes with it, huh?
The morning started with removing the appliances. In case you need to remember what our kitchen looked like before, you can see it

here. Good bye refrigerator, I'll be visiting you in the garage. Good bye stove, I'll see you in a few weeks. Good bye dishwasher, your help is no longer necessary. We will be using disposable dishes for the next few weeks. To the cabinets and linoleum: Adios! I will not miss you at all!
