A Glimmer of Hope

It has gotten to the point that everyone (and I really mean EVERYONE) who sees Jocelyn asks the infamous question: "Where's your hair?" or makes a statement like, "My girlfriend's daughter didn't have any hair for a long time either." or "It always takes the girls the longest to get hair."

I knew the day when I would hear these statements was coming. I knew it before she was born. I didn't have hair for a long time, and when I started getting it, it wasn't the most flattering hair style you had ever seen. Jocelyn obviously takes after me in the hair department.
Me:
Mullet Central!
I think the question is asked so often because Jocelyn is walking and getting bigger, and she is starting to look "weird" being bald. 'Weird' isn't the right word. I don't think she looks weird. I think she is just as cute as she ever was. It's just that to everyone else, it seems that her hair (or lack of, I should say) is the first thing that everyone notices.
I know it will come. I obviously have a full head of hair now. It's pretty thick too. I will one day be able to buy cute little hair thingies and put Jocelyn's hair in pigtails and ponytails. Until then, this will have to do:

See, there is a little glimmer of hope that hair is in Jocelyn's future. Bring on the mullet!
