Welcome to my BOOlog!

Ok, so, BOOlog is dumb...but I couldn't think of anything cleaver...oops, I mean clever...to say. Ok, I promise I'll stop!

I changed the look of my blog for Halloween...one of my favorite holidays. I know it's over a month away, but who really cares?

I love Halloween. I think it's a fun holiday. I always loved dressing up and I have always loved candy too. When I was little, my neighbor-friends and I would get out old Halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating on our street in the middle of July...do you remember that one, Mom? Most people didn't have candy, so we would get canned foods or a dollar bill...but it was the dressing up that was most fun! I guess I was always a little weird. Oh well!

I love decorating the house and greeting trick-or-treaters. I have been putting those fake spider webs up on the porch since we have lived in this house, but I guess I will skip that decoration this year...Todd told me he thinks it looks dumb. Todd isn't much of a Halloween fan.

I look forward to Jocelyn's years of Trick-or-Treating, and just hope that the world stays safe enough that I can trust her to accept candy from "strangers".

Jocelyn is going to be a bumble bee for Halloween! We got her costume at Pottery Barn Kids last year, after Halloween, BEFORE she was even born. It was on sale...very on sale! She's going to bee the cutest bumble bee ever! Cuter than that kid in the picture! I think I'm living vicariously through her.
