A Reagan Funny

This morning while we were getting ready to go to gymnastics Reagan asked me why she had to wear her gymnastics clothes.  The back story to that question is that today is Thursday and she only goes to Gymnastics on Tuesdays, but Jocelyn goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so typically Reagan has to sit and wait on Thursdays while Jocelyn goes and she doesn't wear her gymnastics clothes.  Today Reagan got to take an extra day of gymnastics because she missed her day last week due to VBS.  Anyway, to answer her question I replied that it was a make-up gymnastics day.  I don't know if the fact that this conversation went on as I was standing in the bathroom and putting make-up on had anything to do with her question, but she stood there and asked me if I would be putting make-up on her next.  I gave her a crazy look and asked why I would be putting make-up on her...she doesn't wear make-up.  She then replied, "You said it was a make-up gymnastics day!"  She thought I meant that she had to wear make-up to gymnastics!  Cute, innocent, literal, almost-4-year-old question.  Love you Reagan!

A Day at Kennywood with Friends

What's the good thing about having a Kennywood Pass?  We get to go more than once!  Today we went with our friends Katie, Emma and Zach.  Later on, Daddy and Dan met us there too!  It was a fun day!

Today was Reagan's first T-ball game!  She was so excited and did so well!
Go Bluejays!!
Her "boyfriend" from school is on her team (and his dad is the coach).  This makes T-ball more fun!!  :-)

SNAKES!!

Something happened today that I never would have imagined, or ever would have thought I would approve of...

My children held snakes!  YUCK! Jocelyn was completely okay with it.  Reagan...she was a little grossed out.  The entire time the snake was on her lap she was saying, "Eww, Eww, Eww."  Why? You may be asking.  Why are your children holding snakes?  Well, there was a program at the library and we went.  And this happened.  These are some brave girls I have.  I did NOT hold a snake.  I just couldn't do it.  Neither could Daddy.  No way, no how!

Jocelyn's T-ball season 2014

This year was Jocelyn's second season of T-ball.  She had a great season.  She really seemed to enjoy playing, and we enjoyed watching her play!

Her stats given by Coach Kelly:
Games Played:  10
Hits: 21
Runs: 13
Outs Made: 3

This year, Brentwood put in new baseball fields!  It was fun to have the kids playing on an actual field, as last year the T-ball teams played on the outfield of the high-school field.

The T-ball field is the one you can see here, closest to the playground.

This year, after every game, the players got Sno-Cones at the concession stand.  This was definitely a perk for Jocelyn!
Enjoying their last Sno-Cones of the season

T-ball Schedule p.2
Next year Jocelyn will be 7 and if she chooses to play she will no longer be playing T-ball...she will move up to Softball.  Jocelyn has had an awesome coach these past two years.  Kelly really knows how to make this game fun for the kids while teaching them to be outstanding little players!  I credit a little bit of natural talent along with Kelly's coaching style as to why Jocelyn has been enjoying playing T-ball so  much the past two years.  Right now Jocelyn says she wants to play next year, but I'm unsure if Jocelyn will get to have Kelly as her coach again, so we shall see what happens!  I hope she plays...I really enjoy watching her!

Tooth Fairy Visit #3!

Jocelyn lost her third tooth on Friday, June 20th!  The tooth Fairy left her a lost tooth certificate, a letter and $5!  Her toothless smile is so cute!

Father's Day 2014

We went to Kennywood for Father's Day!  It's so nice to finally have "bigger" kids when we go to places like this.  Jocelyn was actually tall enough to ride the Phantom's Revenge, which is craziness to me. To my disappointment, she didn't want to ride (I would have loved to ride it), but that's okay...she's still kind of little for that one I think!  Reagan rode her first big roller coaster--The Jackrabbit.  She seemed scared to death during the ride, but she said she liked it afterward.  Reagan's favorite ride was the Merry Go Round, and Jocelyn's was the Jack Rabbit.

Jack Rabbit!

Log Jammer! Mommy doesn't do water rides!

Corn dogs and Potato Patch Fries
Daddy won a giant stuffed animal!

It was a fun day!  The only change I would make was to remember to ask Todd to put sunscreen on my back.  That would have been nice...
