Jocelyn started going to dance classes this past summer and has really been enjoying it.
She had her first performance at Brentwood's Light-Up Night on November 13th. Her costume looked adorable on her and she was excited to do her well-practiced dance in front of people.
It was a VERY cold night, but she was a trooper and did her dance so well! She really concentrated on keeping up and doing the right moves. I was SO proud of her!
At the end of the dance, the dancers were to take a white pom-pom from their glove and throw it out to the crowd. Jocelyn had trouble getting hers out (thanks to Mom), and was quite upset over it as you may be able to see at the end of the video. It really broke my heart, especially because she felt that it ruined the whole dance. It took some convincing, but she eventually believe us when we told her that she did a wonderful job despite the pom-pom incident!
After her dance we participated in some of the Light-Up Night events. She looked so cute sitting on Santa's lap with her little Santa costume on! I think this is my favorite picture of Jocelyn with Santa yet!
Jocelyn had another performance night for dance on December 19th. She did an excellent job once again! We held our breath at the end when it was time for the pom-pom, but this time she was able to get the pom-pom out much easier! Whew!
In the picture below, Jocelyn is standing directly under the Candy Cane on the right.
Santa was there to watch the girls perform, and then they had the opportunity to sit on his lap (even REAGAN sat on his lap again)--with Andrea of course! ;-)
