Go Grampee!

Jocelyn's Grandfather is competing in the Ironman Triathlon once again this year. Last year we got to be there to support him, but unfortunately this year we cannot. You will be in our thoughts on Sunday during your 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run. Hoping you have MUCH better weather than last year. God speed to you, and we think you are amazing! Go Grampee, GO!!!

Some more pictures from last year are here.

Summer Fun!

Jocelyn had her favorite kind of day today. It was a get up, eat breakfast and go type of day.
First we had a play date with Aiden which included a trip to the park. This park had a Jocelyn-sized play structure that was really cool. She could climb and slide all by herself. Fun!!
Jocelyn fell asleep on the way home, so I decided to take advantage of the long afternoon by slathering Jocelyn in sunscreen and blowing up a kiddie pool.
This was definitely a Jocelyn kind of day!
I thought it would be fun to put the pool under her slide. This was a big hit. She slid so fast that she landed in the water on her back. I thought she would cry, but when I helped her up she was all laughs!

Carrying buckets of water
Oh yeah, we tried the sprinkler out too!
She got to have a super yummy snack!

Nature or Nurture?

Maybe she was just born to be a Pittsburgh sports fan. Maybe she's been trained. I can tell you that it hasn't taken much to get her to clap and cheer, so I think it has to be a little bit of both.

Here's some video from our trip to the Western PA Sports Museum. We just knew Jocelyn would love it!
